REFIT

Windstar has had a very big refit lasting almost 6 months in the Ratanachai shipyard and the boat lagoon. During this time the following jobs have been done;
Complete respray of topsides and deckhouse and cockpit.
New teak deck and new teak caprail
New rudder.
35 HP Yanmar 3HM engine installed. This engine, supplied by C and C marine, has 1700 hours. It has been completely serviced, checked over and repainted.
New propshaft and new 15.5 inch 2 blade bronze propeller and new cutlass bearing.
The monel fuel tank was removed, cleaned. Proper inspection hatches and a dipstick installed. A new 120 amp/hour battery installed.

The mast was unstepped and all fittings removed inspected and replaced as necessary.
A conduit pipe installed and all wiring replaced for VHF, masthead light, deck and steaming light.
A new aluminium mast step was fabricated and installed.
6 New stainless steel chain plates fitted for the cap and lower shrouds.

All Perspex in the portholes replaced.

All the wiring electrical wiring and fittings were removed, a new switchboard installed and the boat rewired completely.
New Navman multi with depth, speed and log fitted.

New pressure pump installed for the galley and shower and most of the piping replaced.

The anchor windlass was completely rebuilt, re-chromed and a complete new bow roller fitted.
